Hear Prog-Metal Crew Skyharbor Channel Linkin Park on Surging New Song "Dissent"

Indian-American band's latest offering arrives with glitchy visual

Following a nearly four-year wait, Indian-American prog-metal outfit Skyharbor are finally gearing up to drop Sunshine Dust, their third album and the follow-up to 2014's Guiding Lights LP. Ahead of its September 7th street date via Entertainment One (eOne) and Good Fight Music, the group have unveiled "Dissent," a pummeling, rap-inflected banger.

Frontman Eric Emery describes the track as a "a throwback to all of our metal influences from our youth, blended with the Skyharbor sound," and we agree: Between the clean vocals, glitchy breakdowns and foreboding, tech-y music video, the Linkin Park worship, in particular, is strong with this one.

Prior to "Dissent," Skyharbor released a spacey music video for Sunshine Dust's churning first single, "Dim." You can pre-order the album here; scroll down for its artwork and track listing
