Hear Rage Against the Machine's Zack de la Rocha Spit Fire on Algiers' New Song "Irreversible Damage"

Frontman offers rare vocal feature to furious post-punk band

Zack de la Rocha rarely does vocal features. The Rage Against the Machine frontman has a singular voice and energy that can elevate basically any song from good to great, but he saves his breath only for the collaborations he's really feeling, and Algiers' new song "Irreversible Damage" is one of them.

The Atlanta post-punk band, who fuse elements of rock, dub, rap and experimental music, enlisted de la Rocha to bring his righteous anger onto the second single from their new album, Shook, and the Rage frontman doesn't rest on his laurels, coming in hot with an acrobatic flow that wouldn't sound of place on an Evil Empire deep cut.

Check out the track above via YouTube. Algiers' Shook is out February 24th via Matador Records and you can pre-order it here.
