Hear Rising Alt-Rock Trio New Language's Urgent Anthem "No Time"

L.A. upstarts take on everyday stresses of modern life

Los Angeles–based alt-rock upstarts New Language are quickly making a name for themselves. Their first show was played in support of the supergroup Gone Is Gone, featuring members of Mastodon, At the Drive-In and Queens of the Stone Age. Next up, the band hit the road with the Used's on the screamo stalwarts' 15th anniversary tour. Since then, New Language have performed alongside the likes of Tool, Bring Me the Horizon, Chevelle, Gojira and more, and tallied more than 1.7 million streams on Spotify across their 2016 debut album Come Alive, 2017 EP Everybody Screams and numerous singles.

Today (March 12th), they've teamed with Revolver to premiere their new single "No Time" and its high-energy music video. The urgent anthem, which incorporates elements of synth-pop into New Language's punchy sound, takes on the everyday stresses of modern life — from work to social media — that keep us busy and distracted from more important concerns, such as taking care of ourselves. The video, shot in vertical format and portraying an array of people all singing along and expressing their anxiety, underscores the theme.

Watch and listen above, and check out the single's artwork below. New Language have big plans for 2020, including more new music.
