Hear Rising Hardcore Crew Homewrecker's Merciless New Song "Fade to Oblivion"

Ohio band tap Vein frontman Anthony DiDio for first single off upcoming third LP

Ohio demolition crew Homewrecker have announced a new album, Hell Is Here Now. The follow-up to 2014's Circle of Death, out April 27th, marks the band's third LP overall, and their first release for Good Fight Music. To accompany the announcement, the group have unveiled "Fade to Oblivion," the album's crusty, crushing first single. The ripper finds the band juggling death metal, crossover thrash and hardcore, with a roaring assist from Anthony DiDio of New England's Vein.

"This song is like a summary of what the album is trying to portray by including the elements of hardcore and punk into the main theme of metal," the band say of "Fade to Oblivion," going on to outline the album as a whole: "It's a look at the struggle with inner conflict and, rather than seeking help, letting it pull you into an endless cycle of your own 'hell,'" they explain. "Making this album was the most in-depth we've ever gone. We spent a lot of time perfecting every song and taking inspiration from our favorite bands, new and old. We feel it's our best LP yet."
