Back in October — the day before Halloween, to be precise — Rob Zombie announced his latest solo album, The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, and unleashed its lead single, "The Triumph of King Freak (A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition)." Three months and a Revolver cover later, he's back with the LP's second single, "The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man." The shit-kicking cut opens with spooky samples and throbbing beats then launches into some seriously high-octane, hard-boogieing riffage and snarling vocals from Zombie complete with werewolf howls. But that's not all: There's a mid-tempo chant-along section and a chill, funky digression before the song revs back up to its climax. Adding to the fun is a lo-fi, psychedelic music video intercutting studio performance footage with colorful animation and archival onstage clips. Watch and listen above. The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy is due out March 12th via Nuclear Blast.
