Instrumental metal torch-bearers Russian Circles have announced their eighth album, Gnosis, for August 19th release, and dropped its bulldozing lead single, "Conduit." The four-and-half-minute rager leans into the usually diverse trio's most devastating inclinations. Blast it above. The song is a telling taste of the forthcoming LP, which was engineered and mixed by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio, and focuses overall on what the band describes as "physically cathartic pieces."
In addition to the album news and the single premiere, Russian Circles have also announced a headlining North American tour kicking off September 15th in Minneapolis, with stops in Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Brooklyn and more before wrapping November 12th for a hometown show at Chicago's Metro.
