Hear SHADOW OF INTENT's epic new deathcore rager "The Migrant"

Brutal, elegant and intergalactic

Of the many bands leading the new wave of deathcore, Shadow of Intent are a favorite over at Revolver HQ. And we aren't alone. The Connecticut band's most recent album, Elegy, which we named one of the best deathcore albums of 2022, was widely heralded by the people within the scene, and tonight (March 30th), the band are kicking off their highly-anticipated tour supporting deathcore kingpins Lorna Shore — alongside Brand of Sacrifice, Bodysnatcher and Boundaries.

To mark the occasion, Shadow of Intent have dropped a crushing new song called "The Migrant," which lyrically throws it back to the band's origins as a space-themed project. Musically, it's a brutal amalgamation of symphonic deathcore elegance and moshpit menace. Blast it above via YouTube.

"Shadow Of Intent has always been about experimenting and expressing creativity freely, and making sure to have fun with it," frontman Ben Duerr said in a statement. "With this song we've continued to do just that, reaching back to our roots and breaking some rules along the way, we made something we think you will definitely enjoy."

Shadow of Intent's tour with Lorna Shore and the aforementioned bands kicks off tonight in Albany, NY, and while most of the dates are sold out, you can see the full routing here
