Dead Swords is the new project of Alex Rosamilia (Gaslight Anthem) and Corey Perez ( ex-I Am the Avalanche), which explores shoegaze through the lens of Deftones, Hum, My Bloody Valentine and more. Walls of guitars meet soaring melodic vocals on new single "Ender" from duo's forthcoming Enders LP. It's the sort of track that might work just as well on an acoustic or with hushed tones, but the juxtaposition of light and shade make the melodies that much more compelling. Stream that track for the first time below courtesy of Human Blood Records and due on March 8th, 2019.

"When I started Dead Swords, I really wanted to focus on letting the music be able to breathe," confesses Rosamilia. "I have always been a fan of bands like Pink Floyd, My Bloody Valentine, or the Cure; bands that write songs that sprawl about over the course of seven-to-eight minutes. 'Ender,' as well as the rest of the record, is my homage to those bands and those songs that take you for a 10 minute trip without you realizing how long you've been sat there."
