Hear Slash, Myles Kennedy Tell Off Haters With New Song "Mind Your Manners"

Slash: "It's just a go-for-it type of song. Pretty straightforward rock and fun to play."

Having recently dropped a bluesy new single "Driving Rain," Slash, Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators (drummer Brent Fitz, bassist/vocalist Todd Kerns and guitarist/vocalist Frank Sidoris) are back with another cut off their forthcoming album, Living the Dream. Titled "Mind Your Manners," the song is about "how when things are going well, there always tends to be someone who tries to rain on your parade and knock you down," Kennedy says. "You have to keep people like that in check and not let them get to you."

Slash adds, "I wrote this song on the spot to help the band get up and running once we got back in the studio this past January. It's just a go-for-it type of song. Pretty straightforward rock and fun to play."

Living the Dream is set for release September 21st via Slash's own label Snakepit Records, in partnership with Roadrunner Records. You can pre-order it here.
