Just in time for 4/20, stoner-metal titans Sleep — featuring High on Fire's Matt Pike, OM's Al Cisneros and Neurosis' Jason Roeder — have returned with their first album in two decades, The Sciences. The follow-up to 1998's essential Dopesmoker is available now via Jack White's Third Man Recordings label. Among the highlights on the six-track LP are "Giza Butler" (a trippy behemoth titled in punny homage to Black Sabbath's bassist Geezer Butler), the sprawling "Marijuanaut's Theme" and a supernova-sized crusher appropriately called "Sonic Titan."
