Hear Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson's New Raunchy, Menacing Solo Rap Song "The Cure"

New track from upcoming 'Sexcapades of the Hopeless Robotic' album arrives with unsettling video

Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson has announced a new solo rap album as SID: ∫∑x©∆p∆D∑∫ øƒ †h3 høP∑£3∫∫ ®øbø†¡¢ (Sexcapades of the Hopeless Robotic), which arrives August 17th via the musician's own sidthe3rd Productions label. He's also unveiled "†He(c)U(R)e" ("The Cure"): a new track off the LP that finds Wilson bragging about his sexual conquests over an eerie, minimal beat featuring samples of – what else – moaning women. (A fair warning: those offended by proclamations like "French kiss that bitch/I finger her with my heavy metal grip" and "Assimilate legions of pussy/Nether regions" might want to skip out on this one.)

The accompanying performance clip is similarly unsettling, albeit in a trippier, more baffling sense; in the concluding scene, Wilson dons a dapper suit, a red-haired monster mask and black fedora, and proceeds to choke on his glass of red wine.

The follow-up to SID's eponymous 2011 EP, ∫∑x©∆p∆D∑∫ øƒ †h3 høP∑£3∫∫ ®øbø†¡¢ is a 19-track sci-fi inspired concept album following Wilson's rap alter-ego as he travels through the universe; the Slipknot member framed it on Facebook as a "a metaphoric creative representation of the heart and mind inside a body of work known as the artist "SID" (tHe aLieN kiNg). To that end, "†He ©U®e" encompasses much more than sexual braggadocio: rather, it's sexual braggadocio as experienced in SPACE.

"'†He©U®e' represents our hero SID's final straw with the human race," he says. "He has tried countless times to share what he calls '†He©U®e' with every being he has come into contact with and cared for. With zero success rate he is now seeing his bleak lonely future thru a series of time travels and quantum jumps using directional elements in their eco-system on an planet the hUM∆N∫ call 'Earth.'

Seeing how addictions play out within the hUM∆N∫, he soon realizes that he can't keep injecting this '©U®e' due to the adaptations that have occurred thru out their evolution's, and a tolerance to '†He©U®e' has began to develop deep inside the DNA of the hUM∆N∫. Will he find salvation elsewhere, or should he of stayed amongst the hUM∆N∫?"

Pre-orders for SID's ∫∑x©∆p∆D∑∫ øƒ †h3 høP∑£3∫∫ ®øbø†¡¢ are live now at this location. Read on for the album artwork and tracklisting.
