Melvins-esque ripper appears on Seattle band's upcoming 'Armada' LP

Sandrider are a Seattle trio who traffic in hooky stoner rock that takes the brainy with the brawny; their songs are more or less the aural equivalent of runaway bastard children of Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age, reared on a diet of comic books, weed and cheap beer. Two albums and less than a decade in, they've amassed a reputation as one of the most esteemed bands in the local scene, sharing stages with Russian Circles, Ty Segall and others.

Following 2013's Godhead and 2015's split with local band Kinski, the threesome are gearing up to drop their third album, Armada, next month via Seattle heavy-music bastion Good to Die. Ahead of the July 20th street date, Sandrider unleashed a new ripper, which they've aptly titled "Banger" — a red-meat riff-fest in the spirit of Red Fang and Big Business. Check it out below.

Sandiders' Armada hits shelves July 20th via Good to Die. Physical and digital pre-orders are live here. Read on for the album art and track listing.
