Taking on Korn's 1996 raunchy underdog hit "A.D.I.D.A.S." is a bold move, but Canadian darkwave duo Strvngers succeed in expanding the original's perversely on-the-nose sex obsession with the addition of explicit phone-sex hotline samples and a bonus fade into later Korn hit "Falling Away From Me." The delightfully industrial result is a head-bopping good time that strips away some of the original's dated mawkishness.

Having just dropped their latest full-length Amor/Noir back in April, Strvngers are certainly eager to keep listeners busy. Their forthcoming EP Exhumed Vol 2 features remixes from Amor/Noir alongside more covers from artists like Billy Idol, Eddie Murphy and Nine Inch Nails. Accompanying this release is a 10-minute documentary on YouTube titled People Are Strvnge which gives insight into the duo's background and influences via personal interviews while following them to their first U.S. gig, a performance at 2018's South By Southwest.

Vocalist Maria Joaquin wanted to make the show a memorable one, saying "We've been in so many bands, but never had a music project make it out of our city, let alone to SXSW. It's why we don't take any of this for granted, and it felt like an important moment in Strvngers to document."

Watch the full documentary below, and download Exhumed Vol 2 for free when it drops October 13th.
