While the Sword guitarist Kyle Shutt has been busy cranking out cool doom versions of Pink Floyd songs, he has also been hard at work with his main band. As such, the Austin rockers are set to drop their sixth studio album, Used Future, on March 23rd. Recorded in Portland, Oregon, with producer Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, the Decemberists, First Aid Kit), the LP is preceded by lead single "Deadly Nightshade," which you can stream below.

Used Future is available for pre-order now in multiple bundles including an "8-Track" version featuring a USB drive containing the full album and visualizer, housed in an authentic 8-Track cassette shell, and a vinyl version with bonus 12" "Serpent Weather" single featuring art by Thomas Hooper.

The band has also announced a slew of tour dates, with King Buffalo serving as support.
