Hear Texan Hardcore Crew Judiciary Rage on New Song "Social Crusade"

Plus, rising quintet announces upcoming Revolver-sponsored tour

West Texas hardcore crew Judiciary have been tearing up the underground circuit these past few years, touring alongside the likes of Vein, Vamachara, Stone and more. They've had a handful of EPs and splits to their name, but soon they'll be dropping their debut full-length Surface Noise (due January 25th on Closed Casket Activities). To give a taste of what the album is like, and to introduce the band to those yet to be initiated, Judiciary have released a new single "Social Crusade" — check it out above.

More so than many other bands in their orbit, the quintet excels at writing riffs that hang on through any one track without faltering. The group leans nicely into the "metallic" end of metallic hardcore and allows itself to indulge in a few solos and flourishes. "Social Crusade" is completely vicious all the way through, with vocalist Jake Collinson sounds like he's ready to punch you through your headphones with his delivery. Everything builds up to a hearty breakdown at the end that'll have you pitting your way into 2019.

"'Social Crusade' was written to give a glimpse into today's America and demonstrate the value of using your voice to challenge the powers that be in a democratic society," says Collinson of the song. "We are elated to share this song with everyone as it is the first song off of our upcoming LP, Surface Noise, coming out on one of our favorite record labels, Closed Casket Activities."

In addition to premiering the song today, Revolver is also excited to announce we'll be presenting the band's Surface Noise tour this March, with support on select dates from Typecaste, Vatican, No Victory, Low End, Drain and Creeping Death. You can pre-order Surface Noise from Closed Casket Activities, and see where the band will be touring this spring below.
