Hear Texas Alt-Metal Act Kingdom Collapse's Triumphant New Song "Uprise"

"An anthem assuring the fact that we will not only recover but we will rise even stronger"

Having already racked up millions of streams across music platforms and earned spins on SiriusXM Octane — largely on the strength of their 2019 single "Payback" — San Antonio, Texas, alt-metal quartet Kingdom Collapse are a band on the rise. Fittingly then, their latest offering is titled "Uprise," and the new cut typifies the group's mix of big, radio-ready hooks and propulsive heaviness; it arrives paired with a high-energy performance video. Singer Jonathan Norris wrote the single with in-demand songwriter Ted Bruner, who has penned such hard-rock hits as My Darkest Days' "Porn Star Dancing" and Three Days Grace's "Fallen Angel."

Norris enthuses of "Uprise," "We're excited to release the new single at this time with everything going on in the world. With what we've all endured globally with the recent pandemic, this is an anthem assuring the fact that we will not only recover but we will rise even stronger."

Kingdom Collapse are rounded out by guitarist Robert Flores, bassist Blake Suarez and drummer David Sanchez. "Robert and I played in previous bands together, and we always meshed well," Norris has said of the group's chemistry. "Same thing with Blake. We had gone a while without an official drummer, but David stepped in and has been doing an incredible job. I haven't had as much fun in a band as I've had with this group of guys. They share the same vision as I do, and I couldn't do this without them." Check out "Uprise" above.
