Nine Inch Nails were on the road much of last year, supporting 2018's Bad Witch album with epic performances that included rare cuts and, in some cases, full run-throughs of the band's milestone Broken EP. NIN's touring schedule hasn't prevented Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross from adding to their collective film-scoring resume, however; in addition to creating music for The Social Network and Gone Girl, the duo recently provided the eerie compositions soundtracking the nail-biting action of Netflix's record-breaking original film Bird Box.
Today (January 1st), Reznor shared "Outside," a nearly 13-minute track from the Bird Box soundtrack. "First, THANK YOU for the support last year. Between the record and tour it really felt pretty great from my perspective. Nothing is taken for granted and I appreciate you coming along for the ride," he wrote on Twitter before posting a link to the instrumental. Check it out above.
