There's a lot of power to behold between Trivium main man Matt Heafy and Testament frontman Chuck Billy, and they harness it all on a new song called "Behold Our Power." Technically a solo track under Heafy's name, the song serves as the theme song for the June 2022 Polish metal bonanza, Mystic Festival, which is kind of strange because neither Trivium or Testament are set to appear at the event that's headlined by Judas Priest, Opeth and Mercyful Fate.
Nonetheless, the song is a beast in its own right that spotlights Heafy's technical guitarwork and tidal wave-sized riffs, as well as Billy's triumphant belt. It sounds more like Trivium's blend of metalcore and modern power metal than a thrashy Testament banger, but the two make for a great pairing. Crank it above via YouTube.
