We Came as Romans have announced their upcoming sixth album, Darkbloom, for an October 14th release via SharpTone Records. It's their first full-length in five years and the first since the 2018 death of vocalist-keyboardist Kyle Pavone. To herald the news, the metalcore veterans have also unleashed a new single, "Plagued," a pummeling piece that tackles the transformative grief the group dealt with after Pavone's passing. Blast it above.

Guitarist Josh Moore commented: "Lyrically, 'Plagued' was about a part in the grieving process we all went through — feeling like the anguish you're dealing with, then anger you're dealing with, is turning you into a different person. That you're watching yourself change into someone you don't want to be — being consumed and overwhelmed by your grief. It's an incredibly difficult thing to live with, and I hope this song can help anyone who's feeling the same way."

Darkbloom is up for pre-order in an array of collectible formats, including a Revolver-exclusive white vinyl colorway limited to 200 worldwide. These won't last long — order yours before they're gone!
