Hear This Will Destroy You's Soaring, Previously Unreleased Song "Language of Memory"

Bonus track will appear on 10th-anniversary reissue of Texas instrumental band's self-titled 2008 debut

It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since the release of This Will Destroy You, the self-titled debut LP that followed 2005's fan favorite EP, Young Mountain, and helped launch the Texas act into the stratosphere. Dealing in loud-soft-loud dynamics, drama, heaps of melody and much more, the instrumental crew helped move the needle in post-rock and indie at a time when the genres were thought to be in decline.

To celebrate the album's 10th anniversary, the band's label Dark Ops will release their much beloved self-titled effort in two-LP format with an additional 7-inch. The effort will include the new unreleased track "Language of Memory" available for the first time here. Stream it below and order your copy of the physical ahead of its release.

"It's surreal that a decade has gone by since the release of S/T," says Guitarist Chris King. "We've experienced many ups and downs over the past ten years but will always look back on this period fondly as one of creative growth and discovery. The energy brought into these sessions was magnetic and became the catalyst that keeps us going to this day."
