Hear Windhand Channel Sleep in Smoldering Bong-Ready New Song "Three Sisters"

14-minute track appears on Richmond band's upcoming split with Satyn's Satyrs

Windhand have just revealed "Three Sisters" — a smoldering new song off their upcoming 12-inch with fellow Virginia doomsayers Satan's Satyrs. Clocking in at 14 bong-ready, feedback-heavy minutes, the track finds the Richmond outfit drowning their Sleep-y grooves in a sea of thick, distorted fuzz, carried forth — slowly, surely and sweetly — by Dorthia Cottrell's eerie harmonies. It follows "Old Evil," their other contribution to the split, which the band shared late last year.

Windhand's split with Satan's Satyrs is due out February 16th via Relapse. Pre-order it here. The release precedes Windhand's follow-up to 2015 effort Grief's Eternal Flower, expected out sometime this year.
