Hear Wristmeetrazor Evoke Converge on Screamo-Laced New Song "Insecurity Checkpoint"

Rising band issues 2-minute blast of infectious fury

Wristmeetrazor re-imagine the technicality and urgency of the hardcore and screamo of the early Aughts, repackaging that fury for a modern audience. Their latest offering is "Insecurity Checkpoint," a two-minute blast of nihilistic rage that nods to Converge, Orchid and more, alternating between chugga chugga riffs and clean guitar tones that ring out like a rallying call. The entire thing spins into a frenzied double-blast of chaos, before opening up into a melodic passage, only to crumble again. It's technical, emotional, a touch bat-shit crazy, and a whole bunch of impressive. Check out the track above for the first time; you can order your copy of the group's forthcoming LP Misery Never Forgets ahead of its January 18th release.
