Oregon prog-doom trio YOB are set to release an expanded reissue of their fifth album, 2009's The Great Cessation, on December 8th via Relapse. Remastered by Heba Kadry (the Mars Volta, Slowdive), the updated version features new artwork, as well as a pair of hard-to-find bonus tracks previously exclusive to vinyl, "Blessed by Nothing" and "Pain Like Sugar."
Ahead of the new release, YOB have linked up with Revolver to premiere the former song, a serpentine ripper that, contrary to the title, proves anything but empty. You can pre-order YOB's The Great Cessation reissue here, and find the band's upcoming tour dates below.
