In our recent cover story on LA. industrial duo Youth Code, singer Sara Taylor confirmed the existence of her rumored supergroup project with Suicide Silence drummer Alex Lopez, Rob Zombie bassist Piggy D. (on guitar) and former Marilyn Manson bassist Fred Sablan. "It's a shit-kicker punk band," she enthused. "We have like three recorded demos with vocals so far. It's super fun and we just write ass-beater riffs."
Today, the group, named Heavens Blade, unleashed its first single, "Spoiled Rotten," and it is indeed both shit-kicking and ass-beating. "Been working on this for a minute — here it is and I'm super fucking proud," Taylor beamed on Instagram. Check it out below, and keep up on the band via its just-launched official site.
