Witchskull are a craggy, road-weathered trio out of Canberra, Australia, that traffics in doom grooves and classic heavy-metal licks on their new LP Coven's Will, due on June 1st via Rise Above Records. With a galloping bass line and propulsive hooks, their new track "Raven" is made for blasting out of a vintage sports car as you pull over to scoop up that sexy significant other and speed off in a haze of exhaust and burnt rubber. With dueling leads at parts, along with a droning main riff and a swing that reminds us of Cathedral's "Ride," Witchskull's "Raven" is readymade for either a long toke or an extended desert drive. Or both. Or virtually anything that you can raise a beer to and chug after.
