More teasing, cryptic messages continue to appear from the Slipknot camp, this time in the form of a minute-long, heavily edited video released on the band's social media accounts today, May 14th, that appears to take fans on a journey through each of the band's album cycles via covers and correlating imagery from each era with the caption "How Dare You Martyr Me." The most curious part of the clip however is its last few seconds, which present a veiled character about to reveal its face. See for yourself in the clip below.

We saw glimpses of the Iowa metal outfit's new masks (created at least partially in conjunction with Tom Savini and his team) in a similarly grainy, haunted house–style clip just yesterday (May 13th), along with the news that something appears to be coming Thursday on "0516," just one day before they're slated to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! A ticker on their homepage at Slipknot1.com counts upwards until it reaches the number, further confirming the date's relevancy.

Amid all the chaos, band are inching closer to their extensive upcoming Knotfest Roadshow tour with a June 7th kickoff at Finland's Rockfest, followed by a whirlwind summer run that will feature appearances in several countries and even in their hometown for the Iowa State Fair, culminating in the release of their next album on Friday, August 9th.
