On Sunday (September 11th), Iron Maiden launched the North American leg of The Legacy of the Beast World Tour in El Paso, Texas' Don Haskins Center. Special guest Trivium opened the show, but the night belonged, of course, to the NWOBHM titans and their zombie mascot Eddie the Head, now in samurai mode.
Maiden's career-spanning 15-song set included some of the first live performances of cuts off their latest studio album, Senjutsu, including the title track and "The Writing on the Wall," alongside all-time classics such as "The Trooper," "Run to the Hills" and "The Number of the Beast."
