Fast-rising Ukrainian metal crew Jinjer may be best known for their ferocious brand of djenty alt-metal, but singer Tatiana Shmaylyuk — whose vocals veer between harrowing death growls and R&B-ish crooning — brings all sorts of other sounds and influences to the table, from pop and punk to the Nineties rock and even reggae, as heard on the group's adventurous new single "Judgement (& Punishment)." It makes sense then that she loves all sorts of music — including the "surprising" songs listed below.

Kaoma - "Lambada"

I danced myself nearly to death listening to it.

Vacuum - "I Breathe"

I love the atmosphere and the deep voice of Mattias Lindblom.

Cesaria Evora - "Besame Mucho"

A song from my childhood, and it haunts me every summer.

Fergie - "Mary Jane Shoes"

A very cute cover song of Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry" to my mind, where pop, reggae and punk meets each other.
