Judas Priest have postponed all upcoming dates of their 50 Heavy Metal Years tour due to a serious health emergency within the band. Guitarist Richie Faulkner has been hospitalized due to a "major medical heart condition," and the English metal titans are putting all of their upcoming U.S. shows on pause while he recovers.

"It is with deep regret that we have to postpone the rest of our U.S. tour," the band said in a statement through their PR firm. "Richie Faulkner has major medical heart condition issues which have landed him in the hospital where he is being treated. In the meantime, we are all sending love to our Falcon to wish him a speedy recovery...."

"As soon as we have any updates from his doctors on when we can reschedule the dates, we will of course announce them — tickets will be valid...."

Faulkner, 41, has been playing with Judas Priest since 2011 when he joined the band in place of founding guitarist K.K. Downing.
