On November 7th, occult-metal pioneer King Diamond brought his morbid theatrics and glass-shattering heavy metal to the fittingly named Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. The gorgeous ornate venue made for the perfect baroque setting for the Danish corpse-paint enthusiast's gothic theatricality. Idle Hands and Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats opened the show, but it was the King's night, whose North American headlining tour comes ahead of a highly anticipated new album, The Institute, due in 2020.
