Lamb of God Launch Non-Alcoholic "Ghost Walker" Beer, Debut "Ghost Walking" Live Video

Randy Blythe: "This is the best non-alcoholic beer ever made"

Every other metal band has a signature beer these days, but only one has a non-alcoholic collaboration brew: Lamb of God. Released today (April 14th), the Virginian metal juggernaut's new "Ghost Walker" beer is a joint effort with Scottish craft brewer BrewDog, featuring a hop-forward flavor with less than 0.5% alcohol and a name that, of course, references the group's 2012 song "Ghost Walking," off that year's As the Palaces Burn. Fittingly then, the announcement of the beer comes paired with the video premiere of LOG's most recent live performance of "Ghost Walking," on February 14th at Chicago's House of Vans.

"The idea of a collaboration hatched when [LOG guitarist] Willie Adler and I visited a BrewDog bar in Columbus on a tour day off to sample a few pints of their non-alcoholic beer with the brewery team," the band's frontman Randy Blythe commented. "Countless bands have done beer collaborations, but we are the world's first non-alcoholic one. In my not-so-humble opinion, this is the best non-alcoholic beer ever made, PERIOD. It was conceived, designed and first tasted while on tour – music drove it into existence. Right now is a strange time for everyone, but we're stoked to provide a non-alcoholic option for those who want to have a brew while cranking some tunes safely at home. We hope you enjoy our performance and we will see you on the road as soon as possible."

BrewDog co-founder James Watt added, "This collaboration is our most epic to date. It is also one of the most important, especially now. BrewDog has always been focused on making other people as passionate about craft beer as we are, and that includes people who, like Randy, don't want alcohol in their beer. Our AF line of beers offers everyone an alcohol-free alternative for any occasion and we're thrilled to add Ghost Walker to the lineup."

"Ghost Walker" beer is now available via BrewDog's online shop for shipping anywhere in the world. LOG are set to drop their highly anticipated new self-titled album on May 8th via Epic Records and are currently still scheduled to hit the road in North American with Megadeth later this year, pending the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic — see the routing for that run below.
