Lamb of God: See Wild Photos From Metal Tour of the Year

Virginian metal vets co-headlined summer trek with Megedeth

Dubbed the Metal Tour of the Year and originally scheduled for last year, Lamb of God and Megadeth's summer 2021 coheadline trek just wrapped up its momentous run against the pandemic odds. The traveling heavy-music extravaganza — which featured openers Trivium and Hatebreed — sold nearly 200,000 tickets across 27 shows including seven sellouts. To make sure that the bands could throw down for fans every night, the tour had a COVID team with testing on-site daily for both musicians and crews, plus everyone kept their circle tight to ensure safety. This led to no one getting sick or spreading the virus — and to a helluva good time at each stop.
