Just a few short months before his untimely death in July 2017, Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington was in the studio with Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton to create a project that the world has yet to hear. Now in an update via Twitter, Morton confirmed the collaboration will see a release, saying "Chester and I made some really cool music together that we were both SUPER stoked about. And you will hear it!"

The original announcement of the work (see below) came in April 2017, when Morton tweeted a picture of himself with Bennington and noted the recording sounded "killer" after Bennington released some lyrics via a now-deleted Instagram post. No further details are currently available as to when the project will be released, but until then, get your Linkin Park fix with this lost interview from 2001.
