Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has revealed his three favorite albums of all time. In a new interview with Impericon, the vocalist was tasked with picking his top three in a handful of categories, including movies, books, people, places and, yes, records.
"I've been listening to them since I was 13 years old," Blythe said of his musical selections. "Formative records. Very important records in my life."
Without further adieu, here are the three records Blythe chose. Bad Brains' 1982 self-titled record, a.k.a. the ROIR cassette; Sex Pistols' one and only album, 1977's Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols; and Samhain's 1985 debut EP, Unholy Passion.
For anyone who knows Blythe's personal taste, there aren't any surprises here. While the singer has made his bones shrieking like a demon in the groove-metal institution Lamb of God, he's always been a proud hardcore kid at heart, never passing up an opportunity to show his love for the Bad Brains or cover a punk song onstage.
