Limp Bizkit received some of the best reviews of their career with 2021's Still Sucks, and thankfully, fans won't have to wait another decade for more material. In a new interview with Wes Borland, the guitarist spoke about Limp Bizkit getting together in 2024 to make their seventh studio album.

Critics weren't so kind with Limp Bizkit's 2011 album, Gold Cobra. It was their first album in eight years, but the infamous nu-metal act didn't receive a warm welcome back until they waited another 10 years to drop Still Sucks. Suddenly, the metal world was getting down with the "Dad Vibes" era of Limp Bizkit and jamming to Significant Other like it was Led Zeppelin IV.

Every maligned band eventually gets its due respect, and Limp Bizkit will keep the good times rollin' with more new music.

"We're talking about writing during all the soundchecks this year because we're doing so much touring," Borland told Guitar World, as transcribed by Metal Injection. "We want to get recording — we're talking about a travel destination to make an album together next year. We're looking at places, so new music … yessir!"

"This thing has been going for so long," the guitarist continued. "I thought it would last for a few years and I'd end up in art school saying 'I was in a band once!' But 27 years later, we're still going, which is wild. I've been in Limp Bizkit for more than half my life. We get along better than ever now. No one is taking anything for granted. We're all just happy to be here and having a lot of fun."
