With the premiere of the new song "Honeycomb" from their forthcoming LP Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, Deafheaven are now four albums into their career, with a total of nine overall releases during their close to decade of existence. Yet still, STILL, the band has it's haters — vicious bloodthirsty haters that, instead of moving on to find something they do like, take the time out to spit vitriol about the group. Though "Honeycomb" is trending Twitter and the Youtube rating on the song's video is overwhelmingly in Deafheaven's favor on the thumbs up/down scale, the hate STILL comes rolling in. Since these extremists seem to be in the minority, Revolver decided to take a time out to highlight some of the "better" reactions about the band's new material across several social media channels. The results of said very-unscientific poll is below.
