Start stretching your neck muscles because headbanging season is upon us. Megadeth and Lamb of God have announced rescheduled dates for their North American Metal Tour of the Year. The trek that was initially set to happen in 2020 features heavy-hitting support from Trivium and In Flames, and it's going down later this summer.

The month-plus run kicks off in Austin on August 20th and travels from coast-to-coast before concluding in Quebec City on October 2nd. Notably, this is Megadeth's first North American tour since 2017, and their first time hitting the States since Dave Mustaine's successful battle with throat cancer (he was deemed cancer-free in early 2020). It will also be the first chance for fans to experience Lamb of God and Trivium's 2020 albums in the live setting, and In Flames' first outing since last year's Clayman 20th anniversary reissue.

Tickets go on sale this Friday May 7th at 10 a.m. local via Live Nation. Check out the full itinerary below.
