On Thursday, May 16th, Swedish tech-metal titans Meshuggah and Michigan death-metal miscreants the Black Dahlia Murder swept through New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom leaving necks snapped and minds blown in their wake. BDM played in support of 2017 excellent Nightbringers, while Meshuggah are still touring bebind 2016's characteristically unreal The Violent Sleep of Reason.
