On Wednesday, October 5th, Metal Blade Records — the independent heavy-music stronghold founded by Brian Slagel in 1982 — celebrated its 40 anniversary with a star-studded bash at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. That Metal Show's Don Jamieson served as host, while live performances by Visigoth, Fit for an Autopsy and Killswitch Engage provided the headbanging soundtrack.
