Metallica continue to count down to the 30th anniversary of the "Black Album," and today (July 13th), they released another round of goodies off both the gigundo deluxe box set edition of the upcoming reissue and the star-studded covers album, The Metallica Blacklist.

The latest offerings all center around standout cut "The Unforgiven," and include a previously unreleased version of the song, which appears on the "Rough & Alternate Mixes" two-CD set that comes with the reissue.

In addition, the thrash OGs unveiled three Blacklist covers of "The Unforgiven," by Latin pop duo Ha*Ash, indie-rock group Diet Cig, and Indian artists Vishal Dadlani, DIVINE and Shor Police. Sample those renditions below.

Both the Black Album reissue and the covers album are set for release on September 10th. Revolver has copies of the Remastered Deluxe Box Set — which includes six LPs, six DVD, a 120-page book and a ton more — available in our shop.
