Nita Strauss is back in Alice Cooper! Last year, the guitar virtuoso announced that she was leaving her post in the shock-rock legend's live band (who she'd played with since 2014) for a lead guitarist position in popstar-turned pop-punker Demi Lovato's touring ensemble. Her presence in Cooper's crew was sorely missed, but now Cooper has revealed that Strauss will be returning to the group for their upcoming slew of 2023 tour dates — which include a run with Rob Zombie and a handful of dates with Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard.

"She's Back!," Cooper exclaimed in a press release. "Nita asked for a leave of absence to work with someone else, something I always encourage my band members to do. I like them to challenge themselves and try new things. I'm thankful to my old friend Kane Roberts for stepping up and filling in for her, but she'll be back with us for the new tour that starts up in late April. It's going to be great to have her back."

"From the studio to the stage, it's always an immense honor to make music with Alice Cooper," Strauss commented. "I'm very excited to be rejoining the band on the road for the 2023 dates, and so I'll see you on the road in April. Let the nightmare return!"

Strauss didn't clarify if her reunion with Cooper means that she'll also be departing from her spot with Lovato's band. However, currently, the popstar only has one tour date announced for 2023, so Strauss' shows with Cooper wouldn't be interfering with any of Lovato's gigs. Keep an eye out for more information on that front.
