Nova Twins: Hear Tom Morello-Approved Duo's New Rager "Antagonist"

"A defiant tune about self-belief"

When Tom Morello, Bring Me the Horizon and Fever 333 are actively championing your band, you know you're doing something right. And in the case of U.K. duo Nova Twins, they definitely are — making brash, funky, heavy rock that evokes the likes of Rage Against the Machine and Pharrell Williams' band N.E.R.D, while using their platform to smash down barriers. Furthermore, the unabashedly "unique" twosome are the new flagship artists of Marshall Amplification, and their latest single puts the famous amps to good use. Blast the raucous "Antagonist" (released via Marshall Records) above via YouTube.

"'Antagonist' is a defiant tune about self-belief, how you can summon the inner strength to be ready for whatever comes at you," Nova Twins commented of the new song in a joint statement. "It's the army that surrounds you wherever you go. The entire song was pulled together during a jam session. Having spent all of lockdown writing tracks remotely over computers, it was really exciting to capture this spontaneous energy together in the studio, as well as the nuances coming from our boards. We made sure not to lose any of this magic on the record."
