Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic — the latest heady offering from Germany post-metal explorers the Ocean — wraps up what might be the long-running band's most ambitious creation yet: a paleontologic concept double-album. It goes without saying that the LP is a lot to digest and unpack, so to help in that effort the group's guitarist-composer Robin Staps and drummer Paul Seidel filmed a track-by-track breakdown the record and did so in pretty much the perfect setting: the Natural History Museum in Berlin. Revolver premiered the first installment on album release day (September 25th), and now we've followed up with part two.
