Phil Anselmo Illegals 2017 promo 2

Former Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo is set to release Choosing Mental Illness as a Virtue, his latest album alongside his solo band the Illegals, later this month. After unveiling the album's brutal first single "Choosing Mental Illness," and firing off the anti-#fakenews screed "The Ignorant Point," he's dropped off "Delinquent," another pummeling cut off the LP, out January 26th via the vocalist's Housecore Records label. Anselmo described the track to Loudwire, alternately, as "old school-meets-ugly-school" and "good shit." What other form of introduction could one possibly need?

Once Choosing Mental Illness as a Virtue hits shelves, Anselmo will shift his focus to the debut LP from En Minor, his allegedly goth-inspired side project; there's no release date on the horizon for that record as of yet, but it's due out sometime this year.
