He might be known for biting bat heads and partying hard all over the world, but Ozzy Osbourne has always been a family man at heart. His new role in the animated children's movie Trolls World Tour — voicing the character Thrash — seems like it will reflect both sides of his personality perfectly.

A sequel to Dreamworks' 2016 film Trolls, the second movie picks up where the first adventure left off, but this time the main characters Queen Poppy (voiced by Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) discover there are worlds beyond their own where the troll groups they encounter are defined by a different genre of music. 21 posters announcing the expanded cast were released today, June 19th, including Ozzy's below.

The synopsis listed on the movie's official site says the trolls they encounter will eventually join the protagonists in a fight against "a certain doom," presumably the one played by Ozzy. The genres presented in the film will range from pop and country to EDM, hip hop, and of course rock.

According to the Animation World Network, Ozzy will play the father of hard-rock princess Queen Barb, and the two aim to destroy all other genres so rock can take its place as the reigning musical style. Some of the voices behind characters they'll take on include Kelly Clarkson representing country, Mary J. Blige and George Clinton from the funk front, and Kenan Thompson will defend the honor of rap.

Trolls World Tour hits theaters April 17, 2020.
