On Monday June 13th, Ozzy Osbourne went under the knife for a surgery that his wife Sharon said is "really going to determine the rest of his life." The 73-year-old metal icon has suffered health problems for years, and mentioned a few weeks back that he's awaiting neck surgery that would hopefully have a profound effect on his day-to-day life. "I can't walk properly these days," he said in May of this year. "I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road."

Yesterday, Sharon chimed in with a positive update about Ozzy's "major operation," saying that "Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery." Now, the Great Ozz himself has taken to social media and shared a brief yet relieving message about his current state.

"I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably," Ozzy wrote on Twitter. "I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery."

Once again, let's get another hellyeah for The Dark Prince. What a champ.
