Ozzy to Perform on American Music Awards With Post Malone, Travis Scott

Rocker and rappers to bring hit single "Take What You Want" to life

Ozzy Osbourne is set to deliver his first onstage performance since 2018 and do so at an unlikely venue: the pop-dominated American Music Awards. The Prince of Fucking Darkness will join Post Malone and Travis Scott to bring to life the eclectic trio's breakout hit "Take What You Want." Billboard announced the news of the event earlier today, November 18th. The AMAs are set to air on ABC on Sunday, November 24th, at 8 p.m. EST.

Ozzy — who is looking at an early 2020 release for his latest solo album, Ordinary Man, after dropping the excellent lead single "Under the Graveyard" earlier this month — is preparing for what looks to be a very eventful 2020 and putting the cap on a year filled with challenges and injuries. After a 2019 that he's called "one of the most fucked up years of [his] life," the singer deserves a little fun onstage and will likely have just that when he joins noted metal-loving rap artists Scott and Malone onstage. The latter is nominated for several awards, and fans are welcomed to vote for those nominations here.

After the AMAs, it's time for Ozzy to take a little break before heading out on the road with Marilyn Manson on May 27th for a two-month North American run, after which he'll hit the U.K. and Europe for a tour alongside NWOBH pioneers Judas Priest.
