UPDATE 2, 2/19/19: Ozzy Osbourne has canceled the Australia, New Zealand and Japan "No More Tours 2" dates while he recovers from pneumonia. The news follows the postponement of the entire U.K. and European legs of the tour (see original story below). "Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part," says manager and wife Sharon Osbourne of the reason behind the latest cancelations. "His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel."

UPDATE 1, 1/29/19: Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to postpone the entire U.K. and European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour on doctors' orders. Osbourne has been diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection which his physician feels could develop into pneumonia under touring conditions.

"I'm completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour," Ozzy commented. "It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It's being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy."

ORIGINAL STORY, 1/28/19: Ozzy Osbourne has had quite the bad luck with his health on his current No More Tours 2 run. First in October, the singer was forced to cancel four American dates after contracting several infections in one of his hands that led to hospitalization. Now, just ahead of a U.K. and European string of shows with NWOBHM titans Judas Priest, Ozzy has come down with a nasty virus and will have to reschedule once he's feeling better.

"It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of flu," announced Judas Priest on their official Instagram earlier today, January 28th. "Therefore Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle will be rescheduled at a later date - details to follow once finalised - we are very sorry that this has happened and to disappoint so many fans - we wish Ozzy well and look forward to the Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows together - and to the rescheduled ones in the future.

If you needed evidence to back up Ozzy's influenza claims, the Prince of Fucking Darkness shared a recent up-close image of a burst blood vessel in the his eye, the result of strenuous coughing. The show cancellations mark the second time Ozzy has made headlines in as many weeks, the first coming from his new bat plush with detachable-head, made to commemorate the infamous story about the madman biting off the head of one of the winged mammals at a show 37 long years ago.
