It finally fucking happened. Last night (December 2nd), Pantera played their first show in over 20 years, taking the stage at Mexico's Hell & Heaven Metal Fest with the band's new lineup — core members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by longtime friends Charlie Benante (Anthrax) and Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society). The setlist was stacked with beloved classics, and Anselmo and Co. made it a point to pay tribute to Pantera's late founding brothers, Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, whose faces adorned Benante's bass drums.
