Pantera's "Domination": See Kid Band's Cover That Got Cops Called

O'Keefe Music Foundation students act like tried and true Cowboys From Hell

Beyond their seismic impact on the sound of heavy music, Pantera are still remembered as world-class troublemakers who got into all sorts of mischief throughout their intense history as a band. Therefore, we're sure all four members would be proud to see 10-year-old vocalist Colt M. Shedden and his fellow kid bandmates acting like some tried and true Cowboys From Hell. The latest offering from the endlessly entertaining O'Keefe Music Foundation — whose students have previously performed everything from Rammstein's "Du Hast" to Slipknot's "Wait and Bleed" — features Shedden and his teenage peers ripping through a cover of Pantera's "Domination" with such force and volume that the cops showed up.

The fifth-grader's voice isn't yet shredded like Phil Anselmo's, but he still has an intuitive grasp on the blistering Cowboys From Hell standout, as does the rest of the band — 15-year-old lead guitarist Landon Siebens, 16-year-old drummer Nate Tharp, 18-year-old bassist Fritz Dannemiller and 18-year-old rhythm guitarist Alex Sutherland. Things always get rowdy at the O'Keefe residence, but this time the fuzz even made an appearance after a neighbor complained about the racket. That's how you earn your metal stripes. Watch the utterly ripping performance above via YouTube.

In addition to churning out heartwarming, family-friendly renditions of metal classics, the O'Keefe Music Foundation provides free music education to children and adolescents. Find out more about the organization, buy their music and, if you can, make a donation over their official website.
